Research and selection
Checked 7 September 2026. This extends the earlier 28-market screen with closer alternatives. Public descriptions and vendor claims are not independent outcome evidence.
| Source | Observed evidence | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Cordoza Nail Supply | The supplier describes conversations about cancellations, rescheduling and payment problems among nail technicians. | Prevalence, willingness to pay or effectiveness of this kit. |
| Zenoti | Vendor benchmark discussion treats rebooking and use of available appointment time as operating concerns. | A representative result for solo nail technicians or a causal estimate of our product's impact. |
| Function of Vex | A free nail-specific article already offers policies, scripts and tools. | That scripts alone are an underserved product. This is a close free substitute. |
| Phorest | A salon retention ebook is an existing alternative. | Demand for a second ebook or any sales volume for ours. |
| Etsy retention category | Indexed listings include salon retention documents and a lash-business guide; displayed prices and currency vary by locale. | Verified product sales, stable prices or an absence of close competitors. |
| Nail-tech business workbook | An indexed commercial workbook covers multiple business topics, including retention. | Ownership experience or performance of our proposed offer. |
| Square Appointments features | The provider describes appointment messaging and waitlist functions. | Availability in every country or plan, or a need to duplicate automation manually. |
| Fresha reminders | Official documentation describes appointment reminders. | Permission for unrelated promotional messages or universal settings/prices. |
| FreshBooks designer invoice resources | Free designer invoice templates and guidance already exist. | That designers have no payment problems; this simply weakens the differentiation of a basic invoice kit. |
Decision
Choose the nail-tech routine as a first pilot because the buyer and repeatable task are clear. The hypothesis is that a connected, compact guide plus editable scripts and a correctly defined review sheet saves preparation effort compared with assembling several resources.
Do not market it as secret information, proprietary research or a proven revenue system. No interviews, partnerships, sales, comparative usability tests or measured demand have occurred.
Before scaling
An experienced independent nail technician should review the workflow for realistic use, then three target readers should attempt the setup. Ask what their current software already covers and remove duplication. Sell only with accurate delivery terms, seller identity and applicable customer rights. Any cancellation-policy language must fit the operator's actual agreed terms and local requirements; the kit does not supply a universal legal policy.
The source material informs the task selection. The routine, examples, scripts and workbook are original. No third-party screenshots, branding or proprietary training content are included.
